It takes about five hours to make your way through the 25-course Tour menu at Alinea. Their choices ae endless and so hard to just pick one! Achatz has very unique style and your mouth will be blown away at your first bite. His original combinations, such as foie gras with roasted bananas in a chocolate–sweet onion sauce, and watermelon with shrimp, aren't just risky; they're also incredibly delicious. When ordering lobster, the waiter will bring boiling water over rosemary sprigs at the table, so it perfumes the air and adds a new level of complexity to the lobster dish.Their peeled grapes dipped in peanut purée then wrapped in brioche, frogs' legs with spring lettuces and morel or pineapple three-ways with Iranian pistachios. I want to try foie gras with roasted bananas in a chocolate–sweet onion sauce, and watermelon with shrimp !
Any multi course you order and everything you will try is deliciously unique.
You won't regret it and your moth will thank you .
THE CLIFF
St. James, Barbados
I love caribbean food since i naturally grew up with it. But this restaurant will simply keep you commign back for more.Chef Paul Owen is a food genius. His imaginative mixtures of differnt food seems odd but when you taste it , its liek being in heaven. Every table has a view of the beautiful Caribbean Sea. The restaurant is located on a cliff top, overlooking the calm waters of the Caribbean. It first opened in 1995, The Cliff has established itself as one of the finest and most popular restaurants in the entire Caribbean! Open for DINNER ONLY, the restaurant is magical at night when it is illuminated with candles and torches for a romantic ambience. The Cliff is famous for cuisine that blends the flavors of the Caribbean with those of other nations. Diners can begin their meal with classic appetizers such as foie gras and chicken liver parfait with apple and raisin chutney and port glaze, ravioli filled with smoked salmon, cream cheese, spinach, or snails in puff pastry. I would LOVE to try the chicken liver parfait , sounds good. & for dessert , chocolate mousse. mmm , talk about fine dinning .♥
Bookings: Reservations are required, especially during the winter season.
Of course I cannot forget beautiful St lucia. I really want to go there . St Lucia look s absolutely breathtaking. To me everything about St lucia seems to fablous to me. I bet the food is even better. There is one resturant that catches my eye.
La Haut Plantation Restaurant. Even the name sounds fablous.
The plantation grows its own own vegetables and herbs so your food is guaranteed FRESHH. The spinach crêpes, or pasta sounds mouth wattering.
BERMUDA. Such an enchanting place . There is a resturant called mad hatters. The menu is small but the taste is enourmous. I woudl love to try rack lambs and some of the seafood specials.
Trinidad and tabago , the native country for my best friend. I heard it is so amazing there. One resturant that I would love to go to is Kariwak Village Restaurant.
The resturant is open aired and has an unmistakable Caribbean ambience: thatched roofs, coral stone walls, bamboo and rattan furnishings. I love places like that .heir specialties are creole cuisine. The set menu, which changes daily, has a variety of wholesome natural foods all complemented by the generous use of herbs from the hotel's own gardens, helping to provide the freshest flavours. The menu also features a variety of Tobago seafood daily, including a range of healthy vegetarian options, delicious salads and sandwiches.
